Additional script: This work of art brings me back to my childhood when I sat with my grandmother and embroidered with a sense of peace and connection. Now that she is no longer here, and I am myself a grandmother of grandchildren, the features of glass that appear to be the opposite of embroidery express this recollection of bonding through embroidery at the intensity of revival.
